Lost in The Wind

Lost in The wind is a 2D endless runner game where the player is to jump from platform to platform to progress and get a higher score. This was a solo project so i was the only person working on the game meaning everything was made and done by me. The idea originated from when i was on holiday, i saw a german shepard at the base of mountains pass us only to find him at the top later on with his owners. Dog on a journey to find his family.

2D UI

Background

Main menu/start screen self drawn, uses the background from the game to match the theme, german shepard was the inspiration for the character.

Paralaxed background for the scene of the game, used photoshop to parallax it so it's continuous. Takes place when it's snowing to make the journey harder and more dangerous for the dog in context to the story.

Death screen insinuating the dof never returned to their family from the journey.

2D Sprites

2D sprite animations for the dogs run and jump, silhouette to make it more time efficient for the small project.
